Vail Resorts is Hiring an Executive Assistant to CMO and CIO Near Broomfield, CO

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Tasks will vary from administrative support to planning divisional meetings and events. This position must be committed to completing a wide variety of tasks independently with strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. This position is expected to understand the CMO’s schedule and priorities, and support him in maximizing time and focus. In addition, the person is responsible for providing calendar scheduling support for the Vice Presidents of Marketing & Communications. 

Job Specifications:

  • The budgeted range starts at $72,000 - $87,110. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and prompt support with calendar scheduling, management, and availability requests for CMO and Direct Reports
  • Assist in coordinating and booking CMO meetings, travel, and special events
  • Report to and partner with the CMO’S Chief of Staff to accomplish day-to-day business deliverables
  • Maintain divisional org charts and distribution list
  • Expense reporting for the CMO and Vice Presidents in Concur
  • Become a super-user with the company’s administrative systems
  • Provide poised and resourceful administrative assistance to the CMO and Vice Presidents of Marketing with a demonstrated ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Establish great working relationships with the CMO’s and Vice Presidents’ key stakeholders: the executive committee and their assistants, external constituents, and the CMO and Vice Presidents’ direct reports and their teams

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience supporting a C-Suite executive preferred
  • Getting stuff done skills: critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, collaboration and leadership, and professionalism with a sense of humor
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be flexible, resourceful, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Experience supporting a Marketing, Sales or Communications senior level function preferred

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $72,000 - $87,110. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
