Summer activities include mountain biking, golfing, scenic lift rides for sightseeing and hiking, and fly-fishing!

Human Resources Coordinator –FT Winter Seasonal – Northstar California

The Human Resources Coordinator provides the first impression of the resort when greeting applicants, guests, and employees in a timely and efficient manner. They support the day to day operations in Human Resource office by performing reception and clerk functions and assist in the administration of Northstar's Human Resources Department. This position is very fast paced and the ability to multi-task is a must.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and assist visitors and applicants
  • Answer multi-line telephone and route to appropriate extension
  • Answer email correspondence to general HR inbox
  • Keep all employee files and filing up to date for 2000 employees
  • Ensure required paperwork and post offer employment checks are completed daily.
  • Assist with data entry of all new and returning employees in a timely basis, including background checks, E-Verify, and relevant payroll forms.
  • Assist with Job Fair and various employee events, including evening functions.
  • Provides list of company benefits to staff and issues and redeems complimentary ticket offer for staff.
  • Administer new hire paperwork and follow all related guidelines regarding their personal information including I-9, W-4, and resort liability forms.
  • Prepare for and participate in new hire orientations for up to 150 employees per session
  • Handles confidential information and understands importance of privacy.
  • Deals with high volume of traffic with great ability to multi-task and attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate team spirit
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must enjoy working with people

Preferred:

  • 6 months Human Resources experience
  • 6 months PeopleSoft experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
