Summary

Perform file set-up, data gathering, creating report exhibits of property maps and graphics, property research, writing of report sections and uploading completed reports.

Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

• Assist with the preproduction of appraisals of real property or land for bank lending, property tax appeal, eminent domain, and other purposes
• Set up jobs in web-based assignment management system
• Gather property-level data and enter it into appraisal database
• Verify tax and zoning information
• Prepare exhibits for reports
• Write report sections pertaining to subject property neighborhood
• Assist with updates to report templates
• Update market information
• Assist appraisers with scheduling property tours as needed
• Upload completed reports to clients’ web-based platforms
• Keep abreast with market trends and conditions
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Other duties may be assigned.

Desired skills

• Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel) as well as web-based software
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Perform basic research tasks using critical and independent judgment.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Correct English usage, grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary and composition.
• Interpersonal skills including tact, patience and courtesy

Work Hours & Location

In office full time Monday-Friday during business hours. Office located in Eagan, MN.
