We currently have an opening for a general laborer in our Haltom City location. Hours worked will be from 7A.M. to 5P.M.. Willing to negotiate pay based on experience.

The general laborer will be responsible for:

· Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.

· Operate designated machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.

· Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.

· Supply materials, supplies, parts and tools, to the shop floor for use in the production process.

· Use basic measurement tools for determining lengths and building pallets.

· Clean work areas and equipment to maintain sanitation standards within the facility.

· Maintain adherence to quality standards and the elimination of waste in the production process.

· Complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.

· Responsible for accurate record keeping and reporting.

Position skills, education, experience, and working conditions:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· One year of experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing environment

· Ability to use hand tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, pallet jacks etc.

· Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.

· Able to stand, bend and perform some repetitive motion throughout the process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
