Valeo Resources has partnered with an innovative technology and service organization who is moderizing the healthcare experience to ensure better health outcomes for patients We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time BH Medical Director/Psychiatrist to join the team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role you will be reviewing clinical records to render approval/denial/partial approval of requested services (inpatient psy stay, outpatient mental health services, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), substance use disorder treatment, PRTF). Population is everyone.
Position : Behavioral Health Medical Director-Psychiatrist or HSPP (Remote U.S.)
Location : REMOTE - must be commutable to Indianapolis, IN for hearings, etc.
Schedule : M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2)
Requirements

• Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) (Ph.D.) with a current non-restricted license to practice medicine by the Board of Medical Examiners in the State of Indiana.
• Board certification in a clinical specialty
• Utilization Management review experience.
• Experience as a physician executive with significant accomplishments in developing managed care strategies, integrating delivery systems, improving quality and utilization management programs, and coaching medical staff on healthcare business and practice issues.
• A strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review

CompensationThe pay rate for this position is $260,000-312,000 annually.
