Valiant Group is looking for a Project Manager / Construction Manager on a NEXCOM contract at their HQ in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a full-time on-site position. Construction for the project will consist of renovation, expansion, replacement, and maintenance projects to remain functional, current, and in line with mission requirements..

The primary responsibility for the Project Manager is to secure and manage project cost, schedule and performance in conformance with company policy, standards and goals; additionally, this role will be responsible for tracking production, schedule adherence and correspondence. The Project Manager presents superior technical expertise to the customer.

• Developing statements of work for NEXCOM review and approval regarding facility deficiencies and program requirements

• Providing cost estimates for construction projects and/or design efforts in support of NEXCOM capital program requirements

• Conducting technical and functional reviews of designs, plans, and specifications to ensure they are in alignment with best practices, building codes, and unified facilities criteria. Projects for design reviews may or may not be within the local Hampton Roads area

• Utilizing NEXCOM’s electronic project management system to develop, route, and document files, reports, and other project related documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ABET/NCARB accredited engineering or architecture
• Eight (8) years of experience in project management for projects requiring ground up construction and/or multi-trade renovations of single and multistory facilities in the commercial and/or government sectors of industry.
• Professional Engineer or Registered Architect license in any state
• Experience in construction project management with contract values of $15-50 million and up.
• Experience in multiple disciplines including, project management, estimating, preconstruction services, and construction management.
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR is preferred
• Ability to travel and work additional hours when needed to meet business plan goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
