We are a small but growing electrical contractor with over 30 years of commercial contracting experience. Valid Electric is looking for an experienced PM that is self motivated and is capable of overseeing a variety of projects. PROJECT MANAGER DUTIES:

PM will generally be responsible for running multiple projects in size of 1M to 10M after project award. Projects types and sizes will vary however all projects will be commercial construction, either renovation or new construction. We perform a variety of project types including Assisted Living Facilities, Healthcare, MOB's, Office, etc. Field Superintendent will oversee project manpower, field installation, execution, and safety. Typical PM duties will include but not be limited to:

• Issuing PO's and reviewing final BOM's for purchase.
• Obtain submittals and ensure spec compliance from misc. project vendors.
• Review various contract documents and submit RFI's as needed.
• Work with GC's and vendors to facilitate final approval of submittals.
• Coordinate materiel releases with field personal and GC to ensure timely releases per project schedule.
• Identify potential project cost impacts and price up relevant PCO's.
• Monthly Project billings and review of project financials to track profitability.
• Work with GC to obtain project change orders and approvals for PCO's.
• Submit required project close out docs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years experience required as ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER; 5 years preferred.
• Strong communications and problem solving skills.
• A strong understanding of electrical installations; field experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency of software including MS Office, Bluebeam, Conest, Accubid, etc.
• Problem solving and organizational skills.
• Thorough understanding of commercial electrical installations,
• Ability to fully manage a project from award to closeout.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
