Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the teacher in the instruction to students of academic, social, and emotional skills in a center-based program classroom. Collects and enters student performance data.
Minimum Skills and Education Required:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills and Education:
Trauma informed, understanding of restorative practices, familiar with behavior plans and data collection, experience working with at-risk youth in school settings.
Physical Demands:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Office environment with little exposure to excessive noise. Often involved in stressful situations.
