Job Overview: As an Inventory Control Specialist specializing in the Metrc Track and Trace system, you will play a critical role in our cannabis cultivation operation. You will be responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting the movement of cannabis plants and products within our cultivation and nursery facilities under the oversight of the Facility Manager, ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of the Metrc system and reporting requirements, and will be essential to maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall success of our operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies, data inaccuracies, or compliance issues in a timely manner

• Accurately record the movement of cannabis plants, products, and batches in Metrc

• Accurately record plant tagging and growth phase changes of plants in Metrc

• Reconcile on-hand inventory of cannabis and cannabis products at least once every 30 days and maintain audit logs

• Accurately record the disposal and/or destruction of cannabis plants and products in accordance with applicable regulations and maintain logs

• Maintain Metrc user accounts and permissions to ensure proper access and data security

• Ensure all plants and products are tagged in compliance with applicable regulations

• Implement and maintain robust inventory control processes, including receiving, tagging, and recording all cannabis plants and products accurately in the Metrc system

• Ensure the accuracy of all Metrc entries and perform routine audits to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Stay up-to-date with all state and local regulations governing cannabis tracking and reporting, and ensure compliance in all inventory-related activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, processing, and compliance to resolve inventory discrepancies

• Maintain and organize comprehensive records of all Metrc-related activities, including shipping manifests, invoices, destruction records, and inventory audits

• Test and implement new Metrc features or functionalities as needed

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the Metrc Track and Trace system in a cannabis cultivation, distribution, or manufacturing facility.

• Previous experience with warehouse management systems preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient in data entry and reporting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to compliance challenges.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
