GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:The Cadet Activities Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month position that will provide support, guidance and leadership to VFMA Cadets. Will oversee the coordination and administration of weekend activities, intramurals and clubs. If you are esports certified, we want you for this position.
This position must have abilities in the development and management of youth programs, employees, marketing, and strategic operations. This position will require two weekends per month and occasional nontraditional working hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Director of Auxiliary Programs/Cadet Activities with:
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of Summer Camp, Student Activities, Auxiliary Services, or Recreational experience. Must also be proficient with Microsoft Word, Mail Merge, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Director of Auxiliary Programs/Cadet Activities with:
- Preparing, organizing, implementing and selling the paid activity program.
- Providing supervision of Boodle Shop, weight room(s) and other athletic facilities and security of all equipment.
- Developing and implementing activity programs for the Academy and College for the school year, including off campus trips, clubs, intramural programs, and on campus activities.
- Chaperoning off campus trips or facilitating a weekend activity at least two times per month.
- Organize periodic outside food services in the boodle.
- Assisting the Director in the coordination of use of the barracks and other campus facilities for summer camp and rentals from cadet departure to athletics return.
- Assisting in the scheduling and communication with year-round rental groups for use of the swimming pool, athletic fields and other campus amenities.
