Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and Check Parts Orders: Manage the receipt and verification of parts orders from multiple manufacturers and vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

· Inventory Management: Oversee inventory organization, perform perpetual inventory counts, and maintain accuracy to eliminate discrepancies.

· Shipping and Receiving: Manage the loading and unloading of bulk and palletized shipments, utilizing appropriate equipment like tow motors and pallet jacks.

· Damage Claims: Notify the parts inventory clerk of any damage, shortage, or overage claims, ensuring proper documentation.

· Supplies Distribution: Distribute stocked supplies, such as printer paper, to various departments as needed.

· Inventory Reporting: Communicate with parts counter and commercial sales personnel regarding estimated times of arrival for delivered parts.

· Shipping Preparation: Prepare outgoing shipments using carriers like UPS, FedEx, or common carriers, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.

· Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all safety regulations.

· Order Preparation: Pull all parts requested from counterman, shop and other stores.

· Cores: Process all incoming cores and prepare them for shipment according to company guidelines.

· Cover for Ken on Mondays/Days off: Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed properly.

· Warranty Shelf management: Shipping parts back, scrapping parts as requested. Inventory the shelf when requested

· Cleaning and sweeping all areas of shipping and receiving: Daily housekeeping including trash, removing all debris and sweeping every day.

· Pallet Maintenance: Ensure all pallets are organized and available for use if needed. Please keep in stacks that are organized and reach out to the manager if this area gets too full.

Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

· Valid driver's license.
