Our Patient Care Call Center Representative is the main point of contact for our patients and partners. They are responsible for answering calls, identifying the patient's need, assisting with general inquiries or concerns, troubleshooting respiratory equipment, scheduling appointments, and providing patient updates to stakeholders.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Read, understand, and apply policies and guidelines
• Answer and respond to inbound phones calls in an exceptional quality manner efficiently and effectively
• Perform multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Verify and run insurance eligibility
• Effectively communicate any order necessities required with the Patient Care (Sales) Representative and other operational staff via text, email, and phone calls
• Enter and edit patient records, including notes on the call received
• Obtain information from a variety of sources, including patients and caregivers
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, caregivers, internal and external referral sources
• Use tact and empathy in working with patients and families in stressful situations
• Utilize medical terminology to assist with healthcare-related inquiries
• Performs other duties as required or assigned 

EXPERIENCE: 

• One or more years of customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass background and drug screen
• Bilingual preferred, not required
