LPN

Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to care for the residents in our Moberly, MO location. The ideal candidates will be compassionate, cool-tempered, and will have experience in providing diverse basic care to those who need it. You will work under the supervision of an RN or Doctor. Our goal is to promote patient wellness by providing the highest quality of nursing care in the area. This role is demanding, but not any more than it is rewarding.

• Assessing complex resident wounds when they develop or when residents are admitted

• Cleaning resident wounds to remove bacteria and debris and minimize the risk of infection

• Dressing residents wounds to create a barrier against bacteria

• Determining appropriate treatments to help wounds heal, such as regular cleaning, antibiotics

• Giving verbal instructions and creating a resident careplan

• Completing paperwork, charting for Residents records.

• Complete weekly wound rounds and correspond with physician as needed

• Submit wound report to appropriate staff

• Address resident and staff concerns to promote quality of care

• Provide direct resident care when needed

• other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
