Our Family Birthplace is looking for a Surgical Tech II! Come join our team!

This is a full-time position! 

POSITION SUMMARY

1. Assists in the nursing care of patients in the Family Birthplace.
2. Assists in managing supplies and equipment in the unit with emphasis on cost effectiveness assuring that all out dated supplies are removed and replaced.
3. Functions as a member of the sterile team in FBP OR by assisting surgical team as needed by creating and maintaining a sterile field and handing instruments to physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education:

• High School diploma
• Graduate of an accredited scrub tech program

OR

• Completion of VVH Scrub Orientation within designated time frame.
• Register with DORA as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$22.08 to $32.47/hour 
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
