Valley is Hiring a Product Manager Near New York, NY

About the Role

As our first product/ops hire, you have the chance to wear the hat of product manager, ops, and marketer. You'll develop operating principles, creating product roadmaps, write product documentation, stay on top of the engineering teams’s progress, align customer success and engineering, hold engineers accountable, spend time in linear, notion and drive the execution of strategic marketing initiatives for brand awareness.

You'll partner closely with our CEO to:

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Roadmap Planning: work with the CEO to understand the product goals for the next year/quarter/month and build and manage our product roadmap
  • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, CS and other teams to define product requirements and specifications. Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Bugs: Manage bug list and tracking progress/status of each and who is in charge of what
  • Internal Communication: Communicate between customer success and engineering to understand what the key issues and concerns are from customers that engineering must tackle and prioritize the customer feedback for engineering. Document and track the status of product features, bugs, and project timelines.
  • Operations: Help manage operations in relations to sales, marketing, process & organizational development, hiring and weekly & quarterly reporting.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of product development processes, decisions, and timelines. Communicate progress and updates to all stakeholders, including the founding team and investors.
  • Hands-On Building and Scaling: Take a hands-on approach to building and scaling the product from the ground up. Participate in strategic discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.
