- Requires a high school diploma or GED or certificate equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare or the diving industry is required.
- Wound care or hyperbaric medicine experience is preferred.
- Specific training and/or experience in compression chamber operations, including a demonstrated knowledge of decompression tables strongly desired.
- Current Certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Diving Medical Technician (DMT) preferred.
- Requires certification by one of the following:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Paramedic
- Chamber Technician/Operator from the Military
- Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)
- Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Requires BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
