Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will play a critical role in enhancing Valor Paytech's online presence, driving engagement, and strengthening brand identity across multiple social media platforms. This role will be responsible for creating high-quality content for the company’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, to promote our products, services, and company culture. The position will also require frequent travel to industry tradeshows and events to document, produce, and share compelling content in real-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, directly creating and producing content.
- Travel to tradeshows, various office locations, conferences, and other events as needed to capture content.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and posts.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality content, including videos, photos, graphics, and written posts.
- Document and create live content during tradeshows, events, and other company-related activities.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, including engagement, follower growth, and campaign success.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all platforms.
- Partner with other departments to promote company initiatives, products, and culture effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in social media management with proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed to tradeshows and office locations (up to 40%).
