Title: SAP Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA (2 days onsite)

Duration: Longterm Contract

Only W2 candidates

Rate:$65/hr on W2 without benefits

SAP Project Manager Responsibilities for Project Manager

§ Area of expertise: SAP S/4 HANA, Manufacturing, Finance

§ Manages single or multiple projects

§ Defines project scope and goals

§ Creates project plans and deliverables (includes charter, project team members (roles), stakeholder analysis, change and communication plans, project schedule and tasks, requirements and design deliverables, resource plans, testing plans, training plans, transition to support plan, value measurement of work delivered)

§ Leads project team

§ Leads project steering committee meetings

§ Manages project budget (provides monthly forecast) based on scope of work and resource requirements

§ Track project costs in order to meet budget § Continually evaluates project performance and updates project and portfolio management tools.

§ Identifies and escalates risks, actions, issues and decisions to Program and/or Portfolio Manager and BRM

§ Performs retrospectives

§ Ensures tools are ready (collaboration, tracking)

§ Leads project kickoff meeting

§ Leads planning workshop

§ Updates project status in Accolade. Updates include, R, Y, G, go to green plans, executive status summary

§ Analytical ability and broad understanding of corporate applications (legacy and industry standard SaaS) across different business functions

§ Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

§ Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed Qualifications for Project Manager

§ Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field

§ 5-8 years of project management and related experience

§ Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum Master (CSM or SAFe Agile) certifications preferred § Has managed at least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations as the lead project manager

§ SAP process area expertise: Corporate applications in Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Sales

§ Proven ability to solve problems creatively

§ Strong familiarity with project management software tools (JIRA, Project for Web), Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and best practices

§ Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

§ Excellent analytical skills

§ Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

§ Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

This is a long term project. Travel is required. On average during planning and configuration phases of the project - Less than 25%. As the project phases transition through testing and implementation travel will increase to 50% up to 100% for short periods of the project. Work Schedule: Early phase of the project will follow a Hybrid model – at least 2 days in the office (if located in ATL), sometime more based on business unit meeting. Otherwise working remote balance of week. Expect typical 40hr work week. As the project transitions through its life cycle for implementation, the work schedule will require up 100% of the work week being in the office or at the facility site of Bay Minette, AL. PMP, CSM Preferred. SAP implementation experience is a must have. Proven track record of work experience within the SAP space and with large scale transformation initiatives is a must have and can outweigh the credentials for PMP and CSM. Possible Temp to Hire, depending on team fit, performance and quality of deliverables along with Business headcount opening and budget capacity. Please provide answers to these questions: Questions for qualification:  Does the candidate have Project management experience- demonstrated large scale implementation experience, preferably in the manufacturing/process-mfg. industry?  What is the level of SAP implementation expertise and implementation results? Looking for PM with proven track record of successfully managing SAP implementation projects which include configuration, customization and integration with other enterprise systems.  What experience does the candidate have with integration and implementation between SAP and other Enterprise Applications. Look for a PM that has enterprise application implementation experience – Someone that has also managed the integration of other applications into the SAP environment.  Has the candidate been part of a greenfield implementation and experience leading multiple workstreams in including setting up new facilities or implementing systems from scratch.  Does the candidate have experience working in a matrix organization and engaging and influencing resources across various business, engineering and IT department.adjustments/course corrections. Influencing team members to maximize engagement, collaboration and results.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $66.00 per hour
