Site Operations Manager
Job Description Summary

In this role you will act as the single point of contact between the manufacturing customer, corporate buying teams, and indirect material supply chain. You will be accountable for translating individual’s needs into accurate requests within the customers Procurement and Inventory Management System. You will be responsible for leading a 3 shift, 24 hours per day, 5-7 day a week operation with a team of 40 Non-Union employees within our Customers Manufacturing facility along with an offsite warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Engages customer on all levels of manufacturing up to and including plant management.

· Ability to work in fast paced environments with internal work groups, remote buying teams and external vendors.

· Ensure the accuracy and completeness of requests to allow the procurement organization to efficiently process purchase orders.

· Support manufacturing by ensuring inventory accuracy in the tool crib.

· Act as the single point of contact for all onsite team members and customers to answer operational questions always ensuring a sense of urgency.

· Provide leadership to team members ensuring vendors to fulfill the needs of your organization and follow up as required on all purchase orders and quotes.

· Provide leadership for supplier’s escalation. Measure and monitor vendor delivery and quality and drive improvement.

· Understanding of cost savings initiatives and methodology for measurement and calculation. Ability to seek-out, and implement cost savings measures on behalf of the client adding value to the customers operation.

· Participates in customer and internal leadership meetings.

· Lead customer meetings with accurate reporting and data.

· Ability to host and prepare presentations for customer and/or internal meetings.

· Displays positive attitude at all time with customer and internal leadership/associates.

· Collaborates with internal support departments such as IT, Purchasing, Accounting and HR.

· Possess strong computer skills. Obtains fluency in all related computer systems whether they are the company’s and/or customer specific programs.

· Ability to efficiently and thoroughly resolve problems in line with company and customer guidelines.

· Exhibits strong commitment to Safety.

· Provide after-hours emergency customer support as needed.

· Process Improvement – ability to generate and implement new ideas.
