Van Pool is Hiring a CDL School Bus Driver Near Lexington, MA
- A school bus driver provides safe transportation to and from school, field-trips and all other activities requiring bus transportation.
- Ability to work a split shift (Monday -Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am and then again 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm) Times may vary depending on route assignment.
- Maintaining a clean bus
- Reporting any mechanical problems or damage of the bus
- Valid state driver’s license for at least 3 consecutive years in good standing and excellent driving record required.
- No experience is necessary as training will be provided once you obtain your CDL permit with school bus, passenger endorsements. –OR–
- If applicable, possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, Massachusetts school bus certificate, and a DOT medical card.
- Good communication skills; must speak good English.
- Good judgment, commonsense, and physical ability to interact with active children and staff.
- Good attendance and reliability is a must!
- All drivers must pass a criminal background check (CORI), pre-employment drug screening, fingerprinting, physical and random drug screening as subject to MA law.
Salary: $26.66 /hour
