Vancouver Woodworks Furniture is a family owned furniture store established over 30 years ago. Responsibilities include:

• Assist the store manager in all aspects of running the store.
• Manage our stockroom area keeping it clean and organized.
• Basic furniture assembly.
• More extensive woodworking experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work every Saturday.
• Help to unload trucks and keep stockroom organized.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Work one on one with customers with kindness and confidence.
• Basic phone skills.

We are looking for the following characteristics

• Minimum 1 year experience in furniture sales, other retail sales, or woodworking/ woodshop experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Passion for customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing 50 pounds.
• Great attention to detail.
