About the role:

As an Ecommerce Marketing Associate at Vander Farmers you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our online sales channels. You will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and ultimately boost ecommerce sales. Your expertise will be crucial in managing our website, optimizing the user experience, and ensuring seamless order processing. 

Responsibilities:

1. Developing Ecommerce Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive ecommerce marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, customer segments, and emerging trends.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.

2. Managing Website:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce website, ensuring it is functional, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
  • Implement strategies to enhance website performance, including speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and navigation improvements.
  • Monitor website analytics to track key metrics such as traffic, bounce rates, and conversion rates, and identify areas for improvement.

3. Ecommerce Order Management:

  • Manage the entire ecommerce order process from placement to fulfillment, including order processing, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
  • Collaborate with the ecommerce team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, minimize shipping errors, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Implement strategies to reduce cart abandonment rates and increase average order value through upselling and cross-selling techniques.

4. Content Creation and Marketing Collateral:

  • Develop compelling and engaging content for product descriptions, blog posts and email campaigns to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with social media managers, graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual assets and marketing collateral that showcase our products effectively.

5. Customer Experience Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the ecommerce customer journey to enhance user experience, streamline the checkout process, and reduce friction points.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms and analyze customer behavior to identify pain points and implement solutions for improving satisfaction and retention.

6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of ecommerce marketing initiatives, measure KPIs, and generate regular reports for key stakeholders.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experiments to optimize marketing campaigns, website design, and product offerings based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

- Proven experience in ecommerce marketing, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry.

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience with Shopify, Meta Business Suite and Google Ads a plus
