Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist

Our client, boasting nearly 150 years of business history, is in search of a dependable Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to complement their team! This role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals seeking stability and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage various tasks including handling invoices, cash applications, reimbursements, bank deposits, and mail drop off/pickup.
• Execute AP vendor invoice processing, PO matching, payment processing, and reconciliations.
• Facilitate AP payment approvals and monitor requests.
• Address internal and external AP inquiries with thorough research and responses.
• Assist in payroll processing activities.
• Cross-train to provide backup support for AR functions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in AP and payroll.
• An associate degree in accounting or related field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, with a knack for quickly learning new systems.
• Strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deadline-oriented with an unwavering commitment to precision and accuracy.
