Payroll SpecialistOur well-established wholesale client seeks an energetic Payroll Specialist to join their Portland office! This is a hybrid role requiring qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices in Tigard, Oregon.Payroll Specialist Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple locations.
- Calculate supplemental wages and accruals.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
- Research and respond to internal inquiries for information.
- Maintain employee information in systems (new hires, transfers, etc.).
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll data.
- Ad-hoc system implementation and improvements support.
- 3 years of multi-state payroll experience for a mid-large sized organization.
- Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll system and strong Excel skills.
- Customer service focused with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
