As we look to enhance our employees’ skills and capabilities, the Learning and Leadership team located in Marietta, Ga is looking for an intern for the Summer/Fall 2024 semesters. As part of our Human Resources team, the Learning and Leadership Development Intern will play a pivotal role in creating insightful reporting, designing dashboards, as well as administrative functions such as organizing, coordinating, and scheduling training activities/events in support of the organization. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized and metrics-driven and passionate about innovation, coordination, and scheduling of events.
The primary function of this position will be to assist the Learning and Leadership team with compiling data, metrics, and statistics from multiple sources and applying creative descriptive analytical solutions for creating s single source dashboard for reporting. Additional responsibilities include administrative learning functions such as coordinating and scheduling training events, conducting surveys, answering learning tool inquiries, and generating insightful reports to support our learning initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Metrics Compilation and Reporting Collect and compile data related to training activities, participant attendance, feedback, and other relevant metrics. Generate comprehensive reports to provide insights into the impact of learning initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for program enhancement.
  • HR Single Source Dashboard Creation Collaborate with the HR team to develop a centralized dashboard for reporting on training events and participant demographics. Design a visually appealing dashboard that provides real-time access to key performance indicators and support to decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate Training Events Assist in planning, organizing, and executing training sessions, workshops, and seminars. This includes liaising with trainers, scheduling sessions, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of events.
  • Survey Generation Design, distribute, and analyze surveys to gather feedback from participants before and after training events. Use survey data to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support Learning Initiatives Assist in the development and implementation of learning and development programs, including leadership development initiatives, mentorship programs, communities of practice and onboarding activities.
  • Administrative Tasks Provide general administrative support to the HR Learning and Development team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining training records, and managing communication with stakeholders and participants.
  • Participant Management Coordinate participant registration, enrollment, and communication for training programs. Run reports of participant attendance, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration (with a concentration in Analystics), or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with survey design and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for talent development.
  • Prior experience in HR or learning and development is a plus but not required.
