As a recent graduate or early career Mechanical Engineer, you will be in an environment to learn and grow while designing projects both locally and in the Caribbean. Ranging from large scale mission critical data centers, resorts, labs, or commercial hi-rises with integrated sustainability. Some of your responsibilities include the following:
Every Vanderweil Engineers team member brings something unique to the table. Here is what we are looking for with this role:
- Create HVAC designs under the direction of the senior engineer and perform BIM drafting for a variety of projects to develop understanding of mechanical systems design.
- Ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assignments.
- Learn how to complete a set of drawings along with proper process.
- Tasks are complete, accurate and in accordance with good engineering practice.
- Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- 0 - 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Previous engineering internship is a plus
- EIT or FE is a plus
- Revit or SolidWorks is a plus
