What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processing Technician position at Vangst?
Job Summary
- The Production Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively filling, packaging, and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications.
- Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Help monitor and manage processing equipment supplies and inventory.
- Executing all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with SOP’s and all applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records.
- Support new product lines and process development as needed.
- Be willing and able to be cross-trained to work alongside other team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying, weighing and other necessary tasks associated with the broad medical cannabis product line as needed.
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures. TrainTrain future new team members as necessary

- Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.
- Age: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over.
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.

- Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
