Our Billing team is a key part of our success, and we seek an outstanding Payment Posting Specialist who will help create a great work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

We have an outstanding billing team, which has a stellar track record while providing great customer service to patients.

· The Payment Posting Specialist will post incoming, electronic, and paper, third-party payments against the accounts receivable 

· This position will research and obtain missing EOBs for incoming payments

· The Payment Posting Specialist researches and works patient credits, to include submitting refunds to the Finance team

· This position reviews and processes No Show Fees

· This position also processes unapplied patient payments

· The Payment Posting Specialist will assist in posting incoming patient payments to accounts

· The Payment Posting Specialist will self-audit their payments to ensure accuracy

· This position partakes in Team Workshops to assist on project assignments

· This position provides support to internal and external customers via phone calls, billing help desk, and billing team email

Requirements

· A position within a healthcare billing team is preferred

· Full revenue cycle billing experience is a plus

· Payment posting experience is preferred

· Successful candidates for this job will have strong analytical skills

· Precision, attention to detail, and organization are all critical for the job

· Successful in time management

· Minimum typing speed is 50 wpm

· Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence

· Excellent verbal and written skills required. Customer service experience a plus

Reviews

Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first informal review will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire, after that you will be included in the next of our upcoming semi-annual spring or fall review cycles for your formal reviews. This will be your first compensation review, and thereafter your compensation reviews will occur in that cycle (fall or spring) annually.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40-hour, position with business hours Monday to Friday. This position is based out of Colorado Springs. This position requires 4 in-office working days with the flexibility of 1 remote day, or 70% of worked hours in-office, post training completion.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is $20.00-$21.75 an hour (based on experience) with eligibility for overtime and paid time off. The practice covers a portion of the premium for medical benefits and offers vision, dental, and 401K. Physical Working Conditions

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90%

· The other 10%, occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office printer, etc.

· Operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, printer, copier, scanner, or fax

· Be able to communicate accurately, effectively, and frequently

· Can identify color on the computer and software used
