Mechanical Designer
Boston, MA (Hybrid)
$90,000 - £125,000 benefits
Growth in the global business has opened up the opportunity for a Mechanical Designer in a mechatronics business. This role, in the semiconductor business unit will focus on the design and development of components used in wafer preparation machines. You will work on robotics that are used in pick and place functions, and other components that are used in lithography and etching processes. Your role will include technical designing, testing, documentation and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or electronics engineering
- 3 years experience in mechanical design
- Competence in Solidworks, GD&T and FEA
- Prior experience in Semiconductor or Microelectronics industries (3 years)
- Willingness to be on site in Boston at least 3 days per week
