Responsibilities:

• Expense Review: Ensure correct coding of invoices, expenses, and transactions for all offices and departments.
• Vendor File Management: Generate coding for large vendor transaction files for software uploads.
• Journal Entries: Prepare entries to correct and classify expenses to the right general ledger accounts.
• Support: Assist staff and administrators with questions about general ledger coding.
• Vendor Issues: Help resolve vendor service issues and reconcile vendor statements.
• Vendor Credits: Investigate vendor credits and work with the Accounts Payable team in Belfast to resolve open issues.

Compliance:

• Invoice Management: Work with vendors and budget holders to ensure timely receipt and approval of invoices.
• Account Analysis: Assist the Financial Control and Tax team with analyzing expense accounts.
• Accruals: Help the accounting team identify month-end accruals.

Other Responsibilities:

• Team Support: Provide coverage for other treasury and vendor management roles during time off.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• At least 1 year of experience in a well-established company or law firm.
• Bookkeeping experience is a plus but not essential.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to handle a variety of tasks.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• High ethical standards and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to manage pressure and prioritize heavy workloads.
• Advanced Excel skills (required).
• Experience with 3E software is a plus but not required.
