Responsibilities
- PC Support:
- Troubleshoot common PC hardware and software problems (e.g., slow performance, internet connectivity issues, software installation).
- Assist users with basic tasks like password resets, file management, and printer setup.
- Maintain and update computer software (e.g., operating systems, antivirus software).
- Provide guidance on proper computer use and data security practices.
- Network Support:
- Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity problems (e.g., Wi-Fi issues, wired connection drops).
- Assist with setting up new devices on the network (e.g., printers, computers).
- Perform basic network configuration tasks (e.g., changing passwords, setting up network shares).
- Monitor network performance and report any potential issues.
- Communication & Documentation:
- Effectively communicate technical information to users in a clear and understandable way.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with users.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, 11).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (e.g., CPU, RAM, hard drive).
- Experience troubleshooting common PC and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- A willingness to help others and provide excellent customer service.
