Job DescriptionVarela, Lee, Metz & Guarino, LLP’s (“VLMG”) Oakland office seeks a junior to mid-level (2-5 years) litigation associate. VLMG represents many of the nation’s largest general contractors, engineering firms, and owners in connection with the most complex construction projects and contentious disputes across the United States.
VLMG seeks an ambitious associate eager for the opportunity to take on substantial case responsibility, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions. The attorney must be admitted in California, and be willing to work in the office. Candidates must have a strong academic background from a top-tier law school and exceptional research, analysis, writing, and communication skills. Construction litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
Top tier compensation package. Interested candidates should provide a resume, law school transcript, and writing sample.
