How will you make an impact?The lab technician will provide support for scientists in a fast-paced and dynamic R&D and GMP laboratory areas. Your contributions will aid in advancing therapies for patients in need.
What will you do?
- Clean laboratory glassware, dispose waste, and maintain an orderly laboratory.
- Prepare various solutions including dissolution media, diluents, and mobile phases.
- Support inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
- Issue and review laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation.
- Support stability set downs, pulls, and disposals.
- Perform verifications on basic analytical equipment (balances, pipettes, pH meter).
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No experience required; laboratory experience preferred.
- Please do not submit candidates that are over-qualified for the role - this is entry level.
- Skillsets that aligned best with this position are candidates with background in customer service (food and beverage) roles or custodial.
- Non-degree individuals
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Typically requires standing and walking for a shift.
- Occasionally requires lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity and visual abilities
