- 3 years of analytics-related experience highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet to build project dashboards and plans, (Powe BI preferred)
- Some familiarity with Salesforce and online booking tools

- As Sr. Data Analyst, Hotel Growth Initiate Supply Optimization, you will be part of a cross-company team supporting Client Global Business Travel (GBT) supply technology initiatives.
- This is a new pivotal role within Client GBT with exposure to various teams and of utmost importance for the growth trajectory of our supply technology initiatives.
- You will drive the development and growth GBT’s supply platform through leading the build of our Data Management and support capabilities.
- The team is currently looking for a well-rounded individual who has a passion for data and analytics.
- The role requires supporting the team by gathering data, conducting analyses, verifying reports and assist in ad-hoc decision support.
- Excellent time management, strong analytical capabilities and communication skills are keys to success in this role.
- Sr. Data Analyst, Hotel Growth Initiate Supply Optimization
- Extract and analyze data from relational databases and reporting platforms.
- Proactively identify problems and opportunities and perform root cause analysis/diagnosis leading to business impact.
- Identify issues, create hypotheses, and translate data into meaningful insights.
- Present recommendations to key decision makers
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of reports, analyses, dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Assist with the creation and management of client vetting lists.
- Build predictive models and analyze results for dissemination of insights to leadership of the numerous operations groups at Client GBT.
- Prepare presentations that summarize data and help facilitate decision-making for business partners and senior leadership team.
- Design and implement seamless and timely deployment data sets and logic that meet business needs supporting data automation and integrity of data consolidation process.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify key business opportunities to support Hotel acceleration discovery and deployment aspects.
- Define and analyse KPIs that measure the success of products and new features.
- Analyse system data and results and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with Commercial, Product and Technology Teams.
- Assist when needed with troubleshooting and product support.
- Ownership and collaboration with other teams in the GBT ecosystem to improve SMP data analytics accuracy through successful and granular tracking of platform performance.
- Product ownership of SMP data feeds aligned with the SMP platform roadmap.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3 years of analytics-related experience
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet to build project dashboards and plans.
- Some familiarity with Salesforce and online booking tools
- Must be competent in querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Must be proficient in at least one quantitative analysis tool (Power BI)
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and analytical with a desire for continuous improvements.
- Must be adept at juggling several projects and initiatives simultaneously through appropriate prioritization.
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Must be able to work UK business hours.
- Must have reliable internet.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
- Knowledge of statistics, data analysis techniques, and predictive moClienting
- Results and analytical mindset. Ability to analyse and interpret data and create appropriate narrative to communicate, support, and defend conclusions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, diverse, global, matrix and changing environment.
- Travel distribution technology experience in a relevant job role is a plus.
