Software Engineer
The Company: Varonis is a pioneer in data security and analytics, specializing in software for data protection, threat detection and response, and compliance. The Role: We are seeking a passionate, personable, and driven critical thinker to join one of our global Software Engineering teams responsible for a robust product line; an all-in-one platform which automatically finds critical data, removes exposures, and stops threats for the purpose of dramatically reducing the likelihood of a data breaches in record-breaking time. This team manages the deployment and installation of our products within the client’s infrastructure, as well as designing and implementing upgrades and customizations.
The Location: We are seeking candidates willing/able to work a hybrid model. The position requires two days per week in our Morrisville, NC office and is otherwise remote.
The Requirements:

• 6 years of experience in full SDLC C# development within an enterprise environment within the software development or other tangential industry within an agile/scrum environment
• Full stack development experience with a particular focus on backend initiatives
• Experience with the following technologies: .Net Core; ASP.Net; SQL; Angular; WCF; message-broker software; etc.
• Expertise in the following areas: multithreaded and asynchronous development; RESTful APIs; microservice architecture; distributed systems; etc.
• A proclivity to: work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; work independently as well as alongside others; participate in strategic and architectural conversations; provide a white-glove experience for customers; prioritize teamwork, work integrity, and healthy interpersonal relationships
• Fluency in English within all communication forms: written, verbal, remote, etc.
• Advantageous, but not required:
• Development according to Solid principles (design patterns, dependency injection, IOC)

The Responsibilities:

• Program high-performance core applications, responsible for the collection and migration of large amounts of data
• Maintain full-stack project ownership (80% backend work) throughout all steps of the SDLC, including and not limited to: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
• Provide a white-glove experience when interfacing with customers regarding their product and service deployment, integration, infrastructure, as well as customizations and upgrades
• Maintain training, certifications, and proficiencies of latest technologies; bring new ideas and processes to the team to be considered
• Participate in strategic and architectural conversations
• Operate within a true Agile/Scrum environment
• Troubleshoot and maintain products with a high standard for troubleshooting; thinking “outside of the box” / creatively
• Actively seek areas of improvement within the products to support product integrity, efficiency, robustness, and relevance
