As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of our back office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. You will work fulltime acting as the primary MA for our Hiram provider, assisting her daily in taking care of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Assist provider in carrying out requested tasks to complete patient's care
• Point of contact for provider and other staff re: patient needs
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
