Position: IT Support Specialist

Reports to: Manager of IT Services 

Summary: Vatic Outsourcing, a growing boutique telecommunications consulting firm, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to work with our clients and internal staff. This position will be responsible for but not limited to Windows troubleshooting, Exchange management, inventory management, and general technical support to include data protection management / 2 FA maintenance and responding to client security audits. This position will rely in part on the use of various web-based tools and databases to satisfy both internal and external customer requests. We specialize in the support of medium– to large-sized enterprise business clients so you will interact with corporate professionals up to and including VP and C-level staff. This position can provide a long-term growth opportunity for the right person who is looking to get involved with and understand multiple facets of the telecom industry.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
• Install and update company hardware as needed
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Office365 and other software applications
• Assist in improving IT department technologies
• Assist with onboarding of new employees
• Give best practice advice to employees for how to best use their technology
• Provide backup support for other team members

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, email) with clients, peers, direct and senior management
• Ability to diagnose, articulate, and provide solutions for technical issues for clients and internal staff
• General customer service experience
• Experience leading client calls and speaking with customers
• Ability to simplify the complex
• Ability to innovate and engineer business solutions
• Ability to mange data security and 2FA
• Manage Zendesk integrations and ticket system attributes

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Supervisory Responsibility: While there is not a formal responsibility for personnel management, this role will work closely with various members of internal peer and management organizations and will need to take various leadership roles, internally and externally.

Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment.
