Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Health Worker/Job Skills Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting community health and wellness by providing education, support, and resources to individuals and families.

Vaughn Gage Center is hiring for a part time vocational job coach for a position at Moody Gardens in Galveston.

This position is a relatively easy position that would require you work with a youth with disabilities as anchor and guide to aquire work skills. The position is for 5 weeks and is part time.

Mon - Thurs: 10am-2:30pm OR

Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun 11am-5pm

Expected Start Date: June 4, 2024

Estimated End Date: July 5, 2024

Responsibilities:

- Assist students with disabilities in working their shift
- Provide support and guidance
- Utilize motivational techniques to encourage behavior change, if necessary
- Advocate for disabled youth
