CNC Machinist Operator – 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Vaupell Northeast in Agawam, Massachusetts is expanding machining capabilities and seeking to hire (2) CNC Machinist Operators to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate’s primary function will be to produce small to medium size precision parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) lathes and milling machines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Ability to load, operate, clean and maintain CNC machines.
• Assure parts are made to customer specifications.
• Verify settings by measuring specifications on work pieces.
• Document inspection, TPM and other required data as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 or more years of job specific experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and write and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).
