Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Local & Travel

Location: Hadley, MA

Shift: All Shifts

Contract Duration: 9 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Travel Licensed Practical Nurses (T-LPNs) to join our team for a travel assignment in Agawam, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs, in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
• Assess patients' health status, document observations, and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet patients' needs and goals.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote optimal wellness and recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized patient care environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to facilitate coordinated care and positive patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures governing nursing practice and patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Massachusetts or a Compact Liscence.
• CPR certification.
• Previous experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a team-based setting.
• Willingness to travel and work varying shifts as needed.
