• Job Title: RN Nurse Liaison

• Duration: 13 weeks (with a chance for extension)

• Guarantee hours : 40 hours/ week
• Pay rate : $57/hr

Summary :

• The Clinical Liaison maintains administrative responsibility for overseeing Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) on designated units under the guidance of the House Supervisor.
• Collaborates with LVNs, Clinical Supervisor, Unit Director/Manager, and House Supervisor to assist with tasks within their scope of practice.
• Helps develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with federal and/or state regulations.
• Assists in managing and overseeing LVNs within the department(s).
• Supports Clinical Supervisors and/or Registered Nurses in LVN physical assessment review and documentation upon admission, point of care (POC) tasks, monitoring patient status changes, and facilitating discharge processes as required.
• Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and administration through written and verbal means.
• Reports unit status to the House Supervisor.
• Undertakes delegated tasks within the scope of practice as directed by the House Supervisor and Director/Manager.
• Provides direct patient care when necessary within the scope of practice.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for nursing staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Current and valid state RN License of CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA
• ACLS Certification from AHA
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• current ER, ICU and Telemetry experience is required
