**VCA Central Park is seeking a talented, Registered Veterinary Technician to join and lead as a Technician Supervisor full-time.** VCA Central Park is in the Central Park area and services the Central Park, Park Hill, and Founders Green neighborhoods. Our team has a shared devotion to providing progressive medicine with compassion as a driving force, and we are eager to welcome a like-minded individual!

Compensation for this role is between $27 - $30 /hr, depending on experience.

Schedule: (4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts) Full-time available with flexible scheduling

In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Directing workflow on the floor

Help with the interview process for potential new hires

Support Staff Scheduling

Assists in staffing and coverage where needed

Assists in the educational development of technicians and assistants and their skills

Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training

Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience

Mentoring associates within the department

Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service

Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff
