Role: IT Asset Management Specialist

Contract: Long Term Contract

Location: Philadelphia, PA – Onsite

Client is seeking an IT Operations Support Analyst to join the IT Operations team. In this role you will report to the Manager of IT Support and form part of a dynamic team, responsible for the timely triage, resolution, and escalation of production issues with core Client engineering and retail services. This role interacts directly with employees at all client locations as well as our corporate staff and acts as the point of escalation to the Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues across the organization efficiently and effectively.

The IT Asset Specialist will be a part of a team responsible for distribution, tracking, repair, and maintenance of our field and HQ technology assets. This role interacts directly with employees at all the client’s locations, as well as our corporate staff. This IT Asset Specialist will be supporting a manufacturing- industry end client who has an engineering team that is building solutions to dramatically change the way people purchase their daily goods. They provide the modern-day solution to meet customer’s immediate everyday needs with products ranging from snacks and ice cream to household goods and beer, at the click of a button.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create a reliable and up-to-date inventory of hardware assets in use at client’s locations
• Monitor and resolve tickets related to replacement hardware throughout our enterprise
• Receive and repair, or dispatch for repair, hardware items from locations throughout the client’s network
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and OEMs to manage repair turnaround times and spare equipment inventory
• Maintain an orderly and organized inventory of new and repaired equipment 
• Track hardware assets through the full lifecycle, from purchase to use to repair to end-of-life, providing reports as requested
• Assist other IT teams, as time permits, on more complex projects qualifications

Basic Qualification:

• 3 years Asset Management experience
• Experience with ITSM Platforms (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice) 
• Must have experience managing thousands of hardware assets over multiple physical locations in multiple countries

Highly Preferred Skills:

• Ideal candidates would have a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline
• Industry- related certifications such as A , Network , Cisco CCNE/CCNA, or equivalent would be ideal.
• Knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android
• Experience with POS systems (Square, NCR Emerald) is a plus 
• Understanding of Endpoint Configuration Management and Mobile Device Management concepts (Intune, JAMF, KACE)
• Ability to learn and pick up concepts quickly
• Detailed-oriented, aware of secondary effects resulting from changes 
• Experience working both independently and as part of a project group 
• Confidence in making wise decisions on your own within generally defined parameters
• Adeptness in investigating problems outside your own knowledge area
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills 
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude 
• Experience working with virtual/remote staff members 
• Customer service-oriented focus
