United Network For Organ Sharing is Hiring a Senior Procurement Analyst - Temporary Near Richmond, VA

About the Position

This is a temporary contract position expected to last 6 months.
Seeking Richmond, VA area based candidates that will operate in a Hybrid work environment.
Position Description:Under the generaldirection of the Enterprise Procurement Manager or other assignedadministrator, the Senior Procurement & Supplier Management Analyst administersthe purchase of goods and commercial services, and ensures compliance withapplicable laws, regulations, and policies. The position negotiates, prepares,and processes complex bids, contracts, leases, and procurement documents for awide variety of equipment, materials, supplies and services. This role uses expert knowledge of thesupplier evaluation and selection process and manages the process for highvalue/high risk projects. This role willcreate and manage the vendor management program by working collaboratively withmanagement and key UNOS stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:* Serve as lead associateon the Enterprise Procurement Team for Vendor Management. Identify key supplier relationships andestablish processes and templates for vendor management, including theimplementation of price and performance standards.
* Research,recommend, and assist with implementation of strategies to enhance vendordiversity and opportunities for locally owned businesses
* Serveas lead in the development of highly complex bids and contracts for materials,supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with applicable laws,regulations, policies, procedures, and standard business practices. Provide technical expertise and guidance tostakeholders on existing and potential supplier base, bidding, contracting, andpurchasing requests; development, preparation, interpretation, and revision ofspecifications for the procurement and/or lease of materials, equipment, andservices
* Workcollaboratively with UNOS associates at all levels and suppliers to educatethem on procurement policies, procedures, processes, contracts
* Findand recommend alternative sources for goods and services through marketanalysis and other methods
* Identify opportunities for sourcingand other cost savings for company purchases
* Recommendrevisions to policies, procedures, and standard business practices to enhancethe effectiveness, efficiency, and equity of department operations
* Perform related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:5 years of moderate-highly complex procurements and supplier management
5 years of contract review and negotiation of business terms
Critical Skills:Experience with the following activities:
Supply Chain Management
RFx
Supplier Management Programs
Contract terms and conditions
Software contract experience
Professional services agreements
Background in negotiating the best supplier performance, terms, pricing, contracts, and delivery based on budget and scheduling requirements.

Education4-year degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field of study orequivalent experience
