Vector Consulting is seeking an SAP (ARIBA) Functional Consultant on a remote (90% with 10% travel ) renewable 6 months contract in Atlanta, GA.

SAP Skills

• Minimum of 5 years SAP Ariba Suite implementation experience;
• Minimum of 3 full life cycle Ariba implementations;
• Serve as subject matter expert in the area of Ariba solutions; SLP, Risk, Sourcing;
• Understand SAP Activate Methodology;
• Ability to lead workstream activities on a project;
• Provide product features and functionality overview sessions for the Cloud Service & Ariba Modules;
• Hold internal meetings and lead activities needed to finalize requirements decisions;
• Assist client in design decisions;
• Document all business processes affected by the Ariba Cloud Service in the form of functional design document, workbooks, matrices, and enablement workbook;
• Identify, gather, format and load content into the Cloud Service test site;
• Create test plan;
• Document test use cases and test scripts;
• Manage client testing;
• Understand integration between Ariba modules and ECC;
• Understand business and technical uses for SAP Cloud Integration Gateway and Cloud Platform Integration;
• Lead detailed module specific configuration and master data development;
• Use Service Marketplace and Ariba Connect to create tickets, research notes, review release notes and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy;
• Understand how to solve detailed SAP problems;
• Create training documentation;
• Provide train the trainer sessions;
• Create test scripts;
• Execute the testing;
• Triage and investigate test defects;
• Raise test defects to Ariba where appropriate. Include all information necessary to understand and recreate the test defect;
• Create Cutover Plan;
• Execute Cutover tasks;
• Provide customer HyperCare support post go live.

Business Skills

• At least 2-4 years of experience in Public Sector (State & Local government, K-12, Utilities, Higher Education or Healthcare) in a consulting or employee position;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• The ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others;
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio;
• Understanding of business processes for focus area or module and integration points between modules;
• Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Understands and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.
