SUMMARY
This role must be based in the West Houston area, zip code 77055 being the central point of the territory. Candidates must have a background in industrial sales, specifically in instrumentation and process automation or an adjacent technical specialty.
Using knowledge of key customers and product lines, the Account Manager generates new prospects and connects with existing customers to improve sales. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers to meet annual sales goals. You will plan and conduct outbound contacting and/or correspondence to targeted prospects and clients, develop, submit, and track maintenance renewal quotations, and assist Field Service Technicians and Inside Sales teams in driving business in the assigned territory. Account Managers that succeed are, at their heart, entrepreneurs, business professionals with integrity, and capable of efficiently growing and managing a customer base.
