Our client in Painesville, OH, designs and manufactures engineered products that satisfy the rigorous requirements of the aerospace industry.

They are in need of an Aerospace Parts Inspector to join their successful operation.

1st Shift Opportunity

3 month Contract

10 hr. Shift Mon-Fri (Flexible start time), and ½ days Saturdays

Compensation based upon experience

Responsibilities :

• Must be able to properly use all basic measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparator, etc.
• Read and interpret simple and complex engineering drawings.
• Have a working knowledge of GD&T and capability to inspect product to same.
• Document inspections : Certificate of conformance, material certifications, special process certifications, etc.
• Conduct Dimensional and Visual Inspections
• Perform F.A.I, In-Process, and Final Inspection per AS
• Perform source inspection on behalf of customers.
• Ability to measure true-position, surface finish, etc.
• CMM experience a plus.

Requirements :

• 5 years' of experience in an Inspection role.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T prints.
• Experience working within Quality Management Systems that are compliant ISO or AS.
• Able to use all precision measuring devices.
• Experience in Aerospace or automotive preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
