Overview:
This Staff Mechanical Design Engineer is a key member of the mechanical engineering team, leading development of complex wafer processing equipment that are used to manufacture advanced semiconductors, Advanced Packaging, LEDs, displays, photonics, VCSELs, power electronics, compound semiconductors, hard disk drives, MEMS, and RF chips. This role involves leading overall Process Chamber design, including wafer tooling, vessel design, electromechanical device design among others in a highly aggressive environment. The role also requires setting and ensuring developed BKMs are established in new tool designs through execution of design reviews and variation standards.

Qualifications:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience designing and manufacturing capital equipment, subassemblies, or components; or an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of experience. MS degree preferred. Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, or similar 3D CAD systems is required as is finite element analysis experience, both structural and thermal.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The expected salary range for this position is $131,000 - $165,000 bonus benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
