The Role

The Safety Solution Consulting team at Veeva sits at the intersection of Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Product Management and is responsible for the technical sales activity within the Sales organization. The Manager of Safety Solution Consulting brings the experience to build, lead, and grow teams by leveraging a combination of industry, technical, and presales skills and experience. This role is responsible for a team of Solution Consultants in North America and Europe.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of presales consultants in North American and Europe that focus on Veeva’s Safety solutions
  • Define the vision and goals for the Safety Solution Consulting team
  • Define and execute hiring plans to continue growing the team
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Product Management teams
  • Mentor and develop team members and identify future leaders
  • Ensure training and development plans are implemented and completed successfully
  • Define best-practices and related processes for the team, including demo flows, environment management, and other activities
  • Manage operational and managerial tasks and activities for the team as needed
  • Collaborate with global presales teams within Veeva
Requirements
  • 5 years of Solution Consulting/Presales experience
  • 1 year of Solution Consulting/Presales management experience
  • Demonstrated success in selling cloud-based solutions to Life Sciences organizations
  • Experience with recruiting and hiring pre-sales consultants
  • Experience with defining and implementing presales best practices and processes
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Team-first mentality
  • Energetic self-starter; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Ability to travel (~20%) in North America and Europe for internal & customer meetings, industry conferences, etc.
  • A flexible schedule to accommodate multiple time zones when needed across North America and Europe
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Nice to Have
  • Drug Safety/ Pharmacovigilance experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or MedTech organizations
  • Knowledge of Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance systems and processes
  • Experience working with Vault Safety or other Veeva solutions
  • Advanced understanding of technical concepts related to cloud computing and enterprise software systems

Compensation
  • Base pay: $115,000 - $175,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
