We have shop management and digital vehicle inspection tools for aftermarket service centers as well as dealer service lane solutions designed to improve efficiency. We also provide fintech solutions that power payments, small business loans, and repair financing, allowing us to support repair operations at every touchpoint of the customer journey.
The Vice President of Product Management for Vehlo’s Dealership division will be a primary contributor in our Product & Delivery strategy. The ideal candidate has prior experience defining and building Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products in both B2B and B2C environments. You are expected to create the vision, strategy and high-level roadmap for delivering products to dealership customers while creating alignment with our design, engineering, data and cross-functional delivery teams. The VP, Product Management will report into the GM/EVP, Dealership as we shape the vision, direction and team needed to grow our product offerings and achieve defined revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Leadership
    • Recruit, develop and lead the Product Management Team including performance management, strategic alignment to Key Objectives and roadmap delivery.
    • Create alignment and effective partnerships with internal stakeholders including Product Development, Customer Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
  • Product Management
    • Create and drive delivery of Vehlo’s Dealership Divisional Product Roadmap across related teams.
    • Evangelize our products, enhancements and strategy internally through defined forums, cadences and mediums.
    • Capture & translate feedback from customers, Customer Ops teams, Sales, and customer utilization data into actionable Product Roadmap items.
    • Maintain alignment with Dealership XLT related to the Dealership Divisional Product Roadmap.
  • User Experience
    • Lead the team to perform user research to objectively inform our roadmap of needed features and enhancements.
    • Design user story maps with documented detail for Product Development to use as a guide in the development process.
    • Conceptualize and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to create visual alignment with internal stakeholders and to accelerate the development lifecycle.
    • Conduct usability testing and relay outcomes and feedback to relative stakeholders to continually improve user journeys.
  • Product Analytics
    • Create an analytics foundation & dashboard to capture and showcase how customers engage with our Dealership products.
    • Optimize journey by using product analytics to monitor, visualize, and evaluate behavioral user engagement data across our products.
    • Conducting market trend research and analyzing the user journeys.
    • Identify and communicate user pain points and specific user behaviors to inform our product strategy.
  • Product Marketing
    • Lead in-depth research initiatives to understand competitors to inform product direction and messaging.
    • Partner with Vehlo Dealership Marketing resources to define and align on launch plans as part of the broader launch strategy to help end-users understand the product.
    • Contribute to crafting compelling messaging and positioning strategy as a component of the go-to-market strategy for Dealership products.
QualificationsQualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in product management, including progression of leadership roles in B2B and/or B2C digital products.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams and possessing a deep understanding of core technical concepts related to product development.
  • Experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle from ideation, validation, planning, design, development, launch and using product data to learn, iterate and improve the product to meet business objectives.
  • Experience with executives level teams on go-to-market, managing technology product launches and/or working with product marketing teams.
  • Experience building and leading design and development teams who use Agile, Scrum or other iterative software development methodology.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives to create and/or synthesize enterprise level product strategy, including tracking business objectives & key results, assessing the competitive landscape, learning new industries and identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to facilitate executive level discussions to understand product goals, usage and identify opportunities to drive high-impact changes and improvements to the product. Demonstrated knowledge in using data to make informed product decisions and prioritize product(s) features.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, business acumen and the ability to synthesize "the story" for executive-level audiences in order to facilitate efficient decision making among stakeholders.
  • Experience estimating work effort, managing scope and defining timelines for all new product development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated Integrity, high energy, a team player with a history of winning.
